"Une-Fois" was created by Gilles Capelluto at MODEREZ-CONSULT out of necessity. Every day he had to give or receive sensitive data. Normally this is a big ordeal as sending such valuable information over email is insecure. So we would split up our data, sending half by email and the other half by email or phone.

This was very time consuming for us so we decided to create "Une-Fois", a simple short URL service for viewing self destructing notes. "Une-Fois" is a simple idea, destroying a note after reading it. This method has been used in countless spy movies (and mainly of our favorite movie: Mission Impossible).

But he decided to take it one step further by utilizing encryption and SSL technologies found in many of our projects. The notes you give "Une-Fois" are so secure even we can not read them! In a few weeks we will have the chance to present Une-fois Professionnal (UF-Pro). This new service is aimed at regular users and is available in 3 products: UF Pro single, SME and Corporate.

It gives access to our API, to a personalized branding and to an unlimited number of links per day. Indeed, from the launch of our PRO version, our classic version will be limited to 2 links per day.
